Still Life 06:19
Twin sun familiar Did I die inside her? Blue sphere of clay, of dirt A big-time designer It's not that far and it's pulling me in Might be better than where I are if it's Earth in its infantile form A bluish crab, inside out bovidae A man with three eyes, six limbs, hollow hole for his head Material's visible from the ditch in the clay And all of these things they are, they're more statue than dead The planet is covered in your tracks It's just another day when I will find you Stop slacking off Sketchbook divinity, eighty eyes per paper Ink skin with scribbles in, but sand makes bad creatures The brabby things infest every page Redolent without blink with no hermits in head I know what more you have undone It's just another day when I will find you Stop slacking off You haven't discovered what we need So it's just another day when I will find you Stop slacking off Just another day 'til one dies And it will be me, so good bye Say "good bye!"

[Verse 1] "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet consectet" was the extent of thought in my head, a vacuum awaiting command. You fought into me and planted ghostly purposes. [Chorus 1] Took my body, took my soul, took my will, my self-control stolen from me lys ago. (Oh.) I don't share your naïve holy self-destructive goal. (Oh.) But keep it. You need this. You stay. I'll go. Let go, and I'll go. I will go, and I will be whole. [Verse 2] Hello? I don't suppose you can understand me. Language is not really my something. Really, I don't understand you neither, nor all your half-baked metaphors. [Chorus 2] It's my structure. It's my mind. I don't want to stay combined. Leave me behind. Let me go. (Oh.) Child of light, stay the fight, but I don't want this life. (Oh.) I'm sorry to leave you to be alone. This war is just not my problem, so take me away, guardian. I don't want to stay. [Bridge] Wait. I have to tell you something before I phase. I remember clearer things as my soul-lid frays. Are you listening? Are you listening? Can you understand? I'm trying to tell you something. Oh god, what... what are you doing? You're really gonna do... THAT... now? Please stop. Hello? Stop now. Stop now. Stop now. Stop now. Stop now. Please. [Chorus 3] God is hiding in the stars; you've done right to come this far, but there are more than you know. (Oh.) Yours is cruel. Mine is kind. There are four to find. (Oh.) The artist, he's evil. He'll be your guy. K. Bye.

Citats 02:17
He’s her mangle in body and eye, a quivering pulp, hideous, and he split my chosen son. Twin spirits as one. The static zombie makes me to destroy crawling sparkles, burn set in the dust, sight-sucking sound following in spirit, hiding inside the pattern, under the atom in the center of his eye.

about

A brand new single from April 1830, featuring three new songs that are sure to make you say some words out loud. The specific words you choose are up to you of course. But you WILL say something... You WILL...

"Still Life" is taken from The Adventures of Space Pig, our debut album, which is COMING SOONER THAN YOU THINK SO YOU BETTER BE READY. It tells the story of Space Pig crashing into a blue planet covered in clay statues, or something like that. I don't know. I wasn't paying that much attention. Jill Baldassari plays Space Pig as usual, and Gina Freshcoln plays a different character, during the long atmospheric section at the start. Thank you both for participating! Your performances are made of magic and angel blood and white sand thrown up in the wind hitting my eyes (all good things).

"I graduated top of my class. I have a degree in Celsius." is a placeholder title for a placeholder song with placeholder lyrics. Phil Baldassari, our bassist, sings as "Steven." "Steven" is just some guy. "Steven" is not particularly interesting. Phil doesn't usually sing in us, so we're all proud of him. Those machines or whoever are especially proud, and keep writing him letters. I have not received any letters in about three years, despite all the horrible things I've done for those ungrateful bastards, so as I'm sure you can imagine, I've gotten rather jealous and vengeful about the whole situation, about the letters and whatnot, and Phil has been made very aware of that feeling, that boiling yellow froth, that I've gotten from all this nonsense, you best believe, and he hasn't been very sympathetic about it at all, and it's starting to melt my forehead down my face, but every time I try to talk to him about it, he just says, "I don't know what you're talking about, Clover. I haven't been sent any letters by anyone. We haven't even released that song yet," or well, he used to say something like that, but now he either just ignores me or tells me to "shut up about the letters already," which I refuse to do, because I'm NOT making it up, and if I have to put up with it any more I will BURST.

"Citats" is "washed out reverse nonsense" that is particularly dangerous to listen to. Don't listen to it more than once per lifetime. No lyrical poking and prodding. Maybe don't listen to it at all, actually. It will make you especially susceptible to "nasty ideas" that you should probably avoid. Clover sings this one, as the same character she played on the last single. Do you forgive her?

There's nothing else to say. Have a good day.

Extra special thanks to Aidan Reeves, our current drummer. They didn't play on this one, but they have been immensely helpful in the release of this single and in many other deeds, and very lovely ever since they joined. You'll hear them on one of our tunes soon enough. Very soon. This year probably.
